Samar Gold Project

Samar Deposit

Pela’s highly prospective, polymetallic Samar deposit in the north-eastern portion of its Luke KP Concession hosts significant mineralisation of gold, silver, lead, zinc, and copper.

Leveraging on the †GKZ-classified maiden ore reserves approved by the North Macedonian Department of Mineral Resources, exploration work targeting an expanded, maiden Mineral Resource Estimate in accordance with the internationally-accepted JORC Code is planned for 2025.

Note: †The GKZ resource classification system is the State Commission on Mineral Reserves (Gosudarstvennaya Komissiya po Zapasam Poleznykh Iskopaemykh, abbreviated as GKZ). It is a Russian system for classifying mineral reserves and resources, widely used in Russia and several post-Soviet countries.

Development Activity

Exploration and historical metallurgical test work at the Samar deposit have confirmed significant flotation-recoverable mineralization of gold, silver, lead, zinc, and copper.

Luke KP induced polarisation results

Geophysics

Geophysics was conducted at 100m and 200m depths across the northern half of the Luke KP Concession. Both induced polarisation (IP) and electrical resistivity (ER) results show potential mineral anomalies correlating with channel samples from underground exploration drives (i.e. adits 1, 2 and 3).
